About Prerna Aviation: Clear Teaching, Clear Costs and a Practical Pilot-Training Plan

Prerna Aviation is a private pilot training institute in Delhi NCR built around a simple idea: students should understand what they are learning, what they are paying for and which provider is responsible for the next stage. Our work is centred on CPL preparation, DGCA ground classes and a clear handover into flight-training research.

OUR PURPOSE

How Prerna Aviation approaches pilot training

Pilot training can become confusing because students hear about medicals, Computer Numbers, DGCA papers, FTOs, flying hours and airline careers in the same conversation. We separate those decisions. In class, the job is to teach the subject properly. During planning, the job is to show which step belongs to Prerna Aviation, which belongs to DGCA or a medical examiner, and which belongs to the selected FTO. That makes course scope, fees and timelines easier to discuss with a family. It also gives a student a realistic way to fit preparation around school, college or another commitment instead of treating the entire pilot journey as one purchase. We also prefer written boundaries over vague promises. If a service belongs to a medical examiner, regulator or flying school, it should be named that way. Students can then ask better questions, compare quotations more fairly and understand which decision can be changed later without disrupting the rest of the plan.

At Prerna Aviation, a useful class should end with three things: what you understood, what still needs work and what you should do next.

TRAINING PRINCIPLES

The standard we want students to notice

Teach before testing

Students should understand the idea before being judged on speed or recall.

Make progress visible

Tests are useful when they reveal which topic, calculation or reading habit needs work next.

Keep cost boundaries open

Institute fees and third-party expenses are discussed separately so families can budget stage by stage.

Use primary sources

When a regulated requirement can change, DGCA or PARIKSHA should be the reference point.

Avoid unsupported claims

We do not publish pass rates, airline outcomes or placement claims unless the evidence can be checked.

Welcome parent questions

Aviation is a high-cost decision. Parents should be able to ask about scope, exclusions and the next provider without pressure.

Build a routine that survives busy weeks

A useful study plan should still work when school, college or family commitments become busy. We prefer a repeatable weekly rhythm over short bursts of last-minute preparation.

Explain the handover

When classroom preparation is ending, the student should know which documents, research questions and budget items matter before moving to an FTO.

LEARNING CYCLE

How a topic moves from class to exam readiness

Understand

Start with the concept and the reason it matters in the subject.

Apply

Work through questions and calculations while the idea is still fresh.

Diagnose

Use homework and mocks to identify the exact point where an answer went wrong.

Revise

Return to that weak point, fix it and then test the topic again.

Retest

After correction, return to the same concept with a fresh question set so improvement is visible rather than assumed.

Connect the stages

As the student becomes exam-ready, connect the academic plan with medical, documentation and FTO decisions so the next step is not a surprise.

Reflect

After a test, write down the exact reason for each important error. That record becomes the starting point for the next revision cycle.

Prepare the transition

When theory preparation is stable, organise the questions that must be answered by DGCA, a medical examiner or the selected FTO before the next payment.
